I don’t know about you, but I feel less inspired by Necron Sculpts in general, be they 7″ or 32mm, there’s just not that much interesting detail on them.What is it about third parties and Aquilas? (the Chest Wings). Why can’t anyone get them to match the dimensions we already have? GW has the 3d Model of A Space Marine chest, just use that. This is one part of the model that puts me off. Why couldn’t they just make it the same but bigger! The artists proof is a better model in that we finally have a Mcfarlane sculpt with a face, and it looks pretty decent to boot.

Awww yes! This is awesome. An incredibly detailed sculpt. Remember just over a year or so ago when we were crying out for Plastic Sisters, and here they are now represented in cast resiny stuff and standing 7″ tall! awesome So, what’s the difference between this Platinum Sister and the other variants? The next stage was to break up the very solid blue colour of the original paint job by adding some mottling to the armour. Using a dry sponge again, I made a mix of Temple Guard Blue and Macragge Blue, which was quite a lot lighter than the original plastic, and stippled this colour over the armour quite sparsely. All models are dynamically poseable and feature multiple points of articulation. they also come with stands (though unfortunately not an equivalent size or the same shape as we get with our wee plastic models.
