Pod vaping systems are undoubtedly the hottest thing to hit the vaping industry in years. We hear it from our customers almost every day. New vapers love the fact that pod systems present an option for switching to vaping that’s easy to use and delivers nicotine far more efficiently than the cigarette-shaped “cigalikes” of old. Existing vapers are even switching from larger vaping devices to smaller pod systems because pod-based devices greatly reduce e-liquid consumption – and the associated expenses – while remaining immensely satisfying to use. OK the Infinix follows in the footsteps of the SMOK FIT and to all intents and purpose looks almost identical except for the more angular design. For those of you not in the know a pod mod or kit is a simple clean and efficient way to get into vaping featuring either a sealed or refillable pod – see our guide to the Best Pod Vape Kits Here. What to Expect From the SMOK Infinix Kit Vapekit.co.uk (formerly Vapester) is owned and operated by JDJ Media Ltd. Registered Office: 1a Strathearn Road, London, SW19 7LH. Unfortunately I had no nic salts left so can’t comment on how they’d vape – but going out on a limb I’d say you should be OK!

The Smok Infinix is set to its own output, meaning there’s no way you can adjust the wattage or the airflow. With the wattage working off just 10-16W don’t expect to see huge clouds or a huge vape hit. The Smok Infinix was actually a bit of a surprise with a decent amount of vapor and a reasonable smooth vape for both mouth to lung and direct lung inhale vapers.Another impressive and noteworthy feature is the Infinix buttonless design, utilizing an automatic draw feature and dishing out between a 10W-16W range in power output. The power is automatically calculated as well, which is based on the battery’s current state. When at its lowest, the 250mAh built-in rechargeable battery can burst out 3.3 volts and up to 4.2 volts on a fresh charge. Sporting a reasonable capacity, users will find using the Infinix Starter Kit to be very pleasing, providing long and enjoyable vape sessions throughout the day with mild use. To charge the 250mAh battery to its complete state, a micro-USB port is equipped on the bottom side of the device. To give a clear visual of the battery’s current state, an LED indicator is located on the front mid-section of the Infinix, allowing users to clearly tell when the device needs to be recharged. The device comes in three colours; red, gunmetal, and blue. It's not the variety most vapers would want, but it will be within your scope if you're looking for simplicity and performance. In addition to the increased battery life, the Novo features slightly better vapour production owing to the larger mouthpiece opening and airflow channels. The mouthpiece shape of the Novo, however, may be a negative for some. The Novo has a wide, whistle-shaped mouthpiece, while the Infinix has the small, cigarette-shaped mouthpiece that some recent quitters may prefer. Nicotine salt-based e-liquids work well with the pods, but so do all kinds of e-juice, from high-VG to low-VG. Sorry this is a shorter review than usual, but there really isn’t much to add! The Smok Infinix was a good pod kit the Smok Infinix 2 is an excellent pod kit – nice job!

Coming from a small device such as this one, the vapor and flavor output is pretty decent. The vapor setup is perfectly designed for MTL vaping. It’s still draw-activated, as in no buttons to press, and the pods no matter where you are in the world are 2ml and refillable with 1.4ohm resistance coils.

Smok Infinix Starter Kit

It’s nicely put together and certainly looks good design wise – feels nice in the hand and delivers a pretty decent flavour with good battery life. Design wise its very similar to the standard flat pod mods like the Juul pod system, the My. Von Erl and the Apollo Brez. It’s a sleek cubular pen-style device that despite the tad extra weight with the larger battery is still lightweight and nice to handle. That angular design means this one won’t be rolling off your desk into infinity and beyond let’s put it that way. Smok has designed this pod to be used with any e-liquid of your choice, which is just great as you’re not tied into buying expensive pre-built pod replacements like you are with other systems on the market like the Juul we reviewed a couple of months ago. This may be a little off-putting to start with for absolute new users, as you have to buy your own e-liquid, but in the long run, it works out a lot cheaper. Smok INFINIX 2 Kit is an upgraded version of INFINIX. It follows the style of the first generation, slim and sleek, allowing you to bring it everywhere. Powered by built-in 450mAh battery, it can provide longer vaping time than Infinix, whose battery capacity is 250mAh. This version also has a multiple-color LED indicator, you can clearly know the device’s conditions by different colours. There are two pods included in the kit, both of which have 2ml capacity, you can fill them with the e-liquid you like. No fire key, no up and down buttons, just simply inhale.
